Our Fire Protection engineers offer a wide range of fire protection and safety engineering services for various commercial markets, including industrial, institutional, and municipal business sectors.  Design services are available for both fire detection and fire suppression systems, including complete design of a new system or modification to an existing system.

Our Fire Protection engineers can perform plan reviews on behalf of municipalities or facility owners to ensure conformance with applicable code requirements.  We can collaborate with equipment manufactures to specify equipment needs and design special hazards fire suppression systems for virtually any set of conditions.  We have designed automatic sprinkler and special hazard fire suppression systems and provided on-site installation oversight for a variety of commercial / industrial facilities including high rise building applications, bank vaults, multi-use oilfield support occupancies, ship propulsion spaces aboard U.S. Coast Guard icebreaker vessels, and liquefied natural gas terminals.  We have provided oversite of turnkey fire water suppression and detection system upgrades at oil and gas processing facilities, including installation of fire water storage tanks, pump houses, underground fire main and fixed water spray systems.

Our Fire Protection group is comprised of professionals with fire protection engineering, as well as, chemical engineering backgrounds which enables us to also assess chemical process hazards.  We have experience with ALOHA which is an atmospheric dispersion model used for evaluating releases of hazardous chemical vapors

Our fire protection engineering staff maintains their technical edge through continuing education and service to industry organizations including SFPE, NFPA, ASTM and IEEE.
